_NOTE: This video is the Kissing Spell reissue of the Crystalline/Axe acetate, which features some rather heavy editing. Several tracks featured here (Here To There, ANIHAM Take II, and Dark Vision) are edited bits that don’t appear on the acetate, other tracks have editing and remixing done on them (especially The Child Dreams and Strange Sights And Crimson Nights), and a few of the tracks are renamed as well. The editing on it is so extensive, the KS reissue could technically be considered a remix. Despite this, I personally believe this KS reissue to be the best-sounding reissue of the Crystalline/Axe acetate; for those wishing to experience the full acetate as it was originally recorded, Guerssen has reissued it on vinyl and has put it on various streaming services._

Psychedelic progressive band from Northampton, UK. They were formed as Crystalline, becoming Axe in 1969. Although they are documented as existing through to 1974, during their lifetime they never got further than an acetate/demo of their album, and a few live recordings. All known recordings were released decades later. AXE were one of the most obscure acts in the field of psychedelic rock and hard rock of the late 60's. They made a handful of acetate copies of an album in 1969, named "Music" in the original version (or "Axe Music" if alternate sources are correct; and also released as "Live & Studio"), and in more recent years a live concert with the band performing cover versions of various tunes have emerged as a CD named "Live 1969". The line-up consisted of Vivienne (Countess Vivienne according to some sources) on vocals, A. Barford (guitars). R. Hilliard (acoustic guitar), M. Nobbs (bass), S. Gordon (drums, percussion).
