This comes from The D.N.A.'s first album, the surrealist No-Wave underground masterpiece "Wielka Improwizacja" LP (The Great Improvisation) first published in 1993/1994. Wielka Improwizacja was recorded on a magnetic tape and only several years later it was saved for future generations by Panek Studios who meticulously transferred the master tapes to the digital format.
"Japonski" is a musical rendition (in a style of Crazy World of Arthur Brown- unbeknown to the D.N.A's members at that time!) of Japanese folk lore - the story of innocent house maids cooking food and washing laundry on the bank of the river, being viciously abused and raped by a pack of Samurai renegades.
Lead vocal is one of the stellar achievements of a multi-instrumentalist, The D.N.A.'s lead guitarist Sergeant. The Samurai sounds are provided by Crazy, who reaches heights of his talent and shows the future path of his vocal career.
The bow was drawn.
