Welcome to 70s British Glam Rock & Glitter Rock | Seventies Glam Rock Music scene. This is a style of rock music that became popular in early 1970s Britain, characterized by male performers wearing outrageous, flamboyant clothes, hairstyles, and make-up.

Leading British Glam Rock artists included David Bowie, Marc Bolan & T. Rex, Slade, Mott the Hoople, Sweet, Mud, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, and Roy Wood's Wizzard.

American artists such as Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, New York Dolls, Sparks, Suzi Quatro, and Iggy Pop also joined the glam rock scene.
