"Animal Poem" was recorded live by The D.N.Acid Rock on 25/25 August 2018 during a field trip to Wizna Studio at Ruś. This quite unusual (for The D.N.A.) pastoral song brings the echoes of British psychedelia and is a homage to the last days of the endless Summer '18. The recording is also the first to come after a year-long break that The D.N.A. took from studio work and touring. Lyrics below.

There once was a Pig
And she loves to dig
She has a boyfriend
A Guinea-Pig

There once was a Dog
His name was Tagalog
And he was in a fog
He saw a Hedgehog

There once was a Cat
And his name was Muskrat
And he ate a Deer’s scat

There once was a Cow
And she loves to bow
And I don’t know why
She makes a sound that’s called “meow”

There once was a Frog
And she loves a Dog
I think her name is Log

And all those Animals make a family
They are very, very friendly
