Transcript:

With the Artemis space missions, NASA is planning to land the first woman and the first person of color on the moon.

The first of this mission is an uncrewed Moon-orbiting mission.

Artemis 2, is a crewed mission of NASA's Orion spacecraft that will take humans the furthest we've ever been in space.

The third Artemis mission is planned to be the first crewed lunar landing since Apollo 17 in 1972.

The space agency will use innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before.

NASA has stated they will collaborate with commercial and international partners and establish the first long term presence on the moon.

Then NASA will use what they have learned on and around the moon to take the next giant leap, sending the first astronauts to Mars.
