I went to the South London Gallery on Wednesday. One of the exhibits was playing ambient singing bowl music through a cone, projected across the room into another, so when you put your ear to the second cone it had added an amazing 'seaside' effect. So of course I sampled it with my phone and designed a granular, delayed pad on the iPad.

Apps used; Koala (sampler), Bleass Granulizer (live granular sampler), Desert Cities (cloud delay) and Eos 2 (reverb).
