Using only a Pioneer controller, Sucesso broke the internet with clips of his frenzied hot cue hits, quickfire MCing over tamborzão beats and camera-quaking basslines. He's an artist pushing his equipment to its absolute limits.
Sucesso joins a line of Brazilian artists keeping baile funk in a state of forward motion. But even within a scene known for its innovation, his techniques feel refreshingly unique, demonstrating just how he's "distorcendo a realidade"—distorting reality.
