1971 was a great year for rock. 1971 saw the release of many iconic albums from bands like The Rolling Stones and The Who to The Kinks and Black Sabbath. Here are just a few of the albums released in 1971. Janis Joplin's "Pearl" was released posthumously, which included the song Me and Bobbie McGee. The Doors released LA Woman in 1971, marking the bands final album, shortly before Jim Morrison's death. The Rolling Stones released Sticky Fingers in April 1971, which included the hit song Wild Horses. Master of Reality by Black Sabbath was released August of 1971, and included the song Sweet Leaf. Who's Next by The Who was also released in 1971 which included the incredible Baba O'Riley.
