Last December looking for kitties we found a stairway off the side of a road that led to a path through the woods. Jun was a bit reluctant but you CAN'T FIND A SECRET TRAIL AND NOT FOLLOW IT!! And to my surprise, it was actually full of beautiful shrines. I believe these are a part of a larger overall shrine that has even more to offer--if we can get back there again we'll show and explain the full place!
The name of the shrine is 岩崎御嶽社（いわさきおんたけしゃ/ Iwasaki ontake sya）
昨年の12月、猫を探している時にこの場所を知りました。Junはあまり乗り気ではありませんでしたが、日本のジブリ映画みたいで私は堪能しました！千と千尋の神隠しを連想する外国人は多いと思います。日本各地には本当に多くの神社がありますので、また機会があれば行ってみるつもりです。
