Time reflects, retracts and escapes like mercury in your palm, so goes the daze of our lives. This ditty is a look back at the folks that inhabit my DNA, in 1867 Jan Scherphorne, set sail to find a brighter future in the New World. Soon after Joseph Voss left Holland for New York, he met and married Jan's Daughter Jane Scherphorne, who begat my Grand Mum Hazel, from whom I garnered much of my artist cravings.
