LA authorities warning residents to ‘evacuate now’ amid ongoing wildfires

Santa Clarita Mayor Bill Miranda has warned LA residents who are under an evacuation order to grab “critical” items and “evacuate now”.

The warning was issued amid the fast-moving LA wildfires which continue to tear through parts of California.

“Don’t wait 10 minutes and see what’s going to happen,” Mr Miranda said in a media conference.

“Do not hesitate, do not stay. Grab the necessary items and leave as quickly as you can.”
