
One of the best ways to really begin understanding the fretboard is to learn how to access everyday chords in any spot on the fretboard.
In this lesson, I’ll share a bit about the CAGED method for playing a single chord in 5 spots on the fretboard. Some of the chord shapes can be a bit difficult, so I’ve got some tips to help you learn how to play them.
Plus, we’ll extend the CAGED method into a bluesy little example that is fun to play and really eye opening when it comes to how the fretboard is arranged.
