Meherbaan (1993) is a Hindi-language drama film directed by K. Ravishankar, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, and Shantipriya in lead roles. The movie is a remake of the Tamil film Naan Pudicha Mappillai.
The story follows Ravi (Mithun Chakraborty), a righteous and hardworking man who faces life’s hardships with determination. He falls in love with Chanda (Ayesha Jhulka), a simple yet strong-willed woman who supports him in every way. However, their love story is complicated by the entry of Neha (Shantipriya), leading to a dramatic turn of events.
Meanwhile, the antagonist Chaurangilal (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and corrupt elements in society conspire to break Ravi’s spirit, but he fights against all odds to protect his family and his honor.
