Former Republican Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy joins TODAY with perspective on Donald Trump’s win of the Electoral College and the popular vote, the Republican majority in the House, and Trump’s appeal to voters. McCarthy says Trump “expanded the Republican party,” adding, “When you’re carrying 41% of the Hispanic vote, 25% of Black males, we haven’t seen those type of numbers for almost 50 years for Republicans.”
