This bracket from eimkieth will get our track bar (panhard) back to its proper angle.
Doing a 2-3" suspension lift on our Toyotas is really very simple. Just bolt on longer coil-overs in the front, springs and shocks in the rear. However, there's something that most people overlook when lifting the rear. Let me introduce you to the often overlooked, and forgotten about, panhard bar. Without it the suspension would just flop around sideways.
This keeps the axle centered under the vehicle.
With the stock suspension, from the factory, this is engineered to be level, or straight across at ride height. When the suspension travels up and down the axle has very little side to side action. So it stays pretty much centered. When we put on a lift however, this angle gets upwards of 4 degrees. Not only is the axle now shifted over to the passenger's side, the amount of sideways action when the suspension is traveling up and down is now greater. When we hit a good bump in the road we feel our 4Runner make a slight, but noticeable shift to the right rear. We're going to fix that problem with this simple bracket.
Here's the article our friend Dan wrote. It'll explain the technical aspects much better than we did in the video:

If you're anywhere near the IL-WI border, we highly recommend you have Lars at Axel Fabrications & Repairs weld the bracket on for you:
