For many people, New Year's Eve means celebrating to welcome in the new year. Music is also part of celebrating. A song that has been associated with New Year's Eve for years is the song The Final Countdown by Europe.

Whenever the last 10 seconds of the old year are over, the well-known synth riff from The Final Countdown sounds.

To mark New Year's Eve, I decided to produce a small guitar cover of The Final Countdown. It's nothing special, I'm a hard rock genre. In my case, the well-known synth riff is played by the guitar, it was hard enough to hear the whole thing and find the right chords.

But I think I did a solid job.

With guitar covers, it's always challenging to create a guitar solo from the vocals or a synth riff, but sometimes it works, even if it takes a lot of patience.
