One of the highlights of 1986 for me, this is pianist Bob Thompson's third record, and arguably his best ever. The opening track "Shooting Star" is my favorite cut, featuring Kevin Eubanks on guitar, and John Blake on violin, both who put out excellent solo albums in 1986. However, "Shooting Star" remained a mystery track from 94Q-FM for 27 years until I bought this CD back in 2013. "Undercover" and "Waiting For You" are also excellent tracks from this one.
