Aussie dance faves Teddy Cream are known for their ability to re-work a dance classic and this time, they’ve set their sights on George Michael’s sorrowful ‘Careless Whisper’. While the original version involves the recollection of “sad goodbyes”, Teddy Cream are doubling down on the mantra of their previous release ‘No Sad Goodbye’ by transforming George Michael’s enduring hit into a sure-fire, glitter-encased, disco-tinged, crowd-pleaser. It’s sure to help any guilty feet find rhythm and make them dance again.

“We have been sitting on ‘Careless Whispers’ for a while and have finally perfected it!” explains Vince from Teddy Cream. “This is by far our favourite track to date and George Michael was one of our favourite artists. We have tried to go back to the ‘80s and replicate those funky disco baselines that make the listeners want to dance, as well as used a number of retro synths and horns. We hope you love it!”
