Spider-Man: Brand New Day is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. The film is a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.[3] It is the fortieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third installment of Phase Six. The film is set to be released on July 31, 2026. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film was directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire. In the film, Parker asks Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) to use magic to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret again after this was revealed to the world at the end of Far From Home. When the spell goes wrong because of Parker's actions, the multiverse is broken open and visitors from alternate realities are brought into Parker's universe.

A third MCU Spider-Man film was planned during the production of Homecoming in 2017. Negotiations between Sony and Marvel Studios to alter their deal—in which they produce the Spider-Man films together—ended with Marvel Studios leaving the project in August 2019, but a negative fan reaction led to a new deal between the companies a month later. Watts, McKenna, Sommers, and Holland were set to return, and filming took place from October 2020 to March 2021 in New York City and Atlanta. No Way Home serves as a crossover between the MCU and the previous Spider-Man films directed by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb. Several actors reprise their roles from those films, including previous Spider-Man actors Maguire and Garfield. The pair's involvement was the subject of wide speculation and numerous leaks despite the efforts of Sony, Marvel, and the cast to conceal their involvement.

The Spider-Man Suit is a specialized suit used by Peter Parker to protect his identity as Spider-Man. It originally consisted of a red hoodie with a spider symbol, blue garments and a mask with goggles. An upgraded version was created by Tony Stark and given to Parker in 2016, who first used it during the Battle at Leipzig-Halle Airport. The Stark suit included features such as an AI, high-tech eye lenses with a heads-up display, a reconnaissance drone and retractable wingsuit components.

In 2024, in an attempt to hide his identity as Spider-Man while in Europe, Parker was given a stealth suit by S.H.I.E.L.D. that allowed him to operate under the moniker of Night Monkey. The next day, as his Stark Suit had been destroyed and he had lost the mask to his stealth suit, Parker used a Stark Industries Fabricator to design and create the Upgraded Suit, which he used in the Battle of London to defeat Mysterio. A few months later, Doctor Octopus reallocated some nanites from the Iron Spider Armor onto the Upgraded Suit, converting it into the Integrated Suit, which Parker used during the battle on the Statue of Liberty. By December 2024, in the wake of the world forgetting Parker's identity, he chose to abandon the Stark suits and sew his own suit, with a design inspired from the suits worn by his two Multiversal counterparts.

When Doctor Strange erased the world's knowledge and memories of Peter Parker's existence in order to seal up the cracks in the Multiverse, Parker began a new, more simple life, living and working independently. Renting an apartment, Parker used a sewing machine to create a new red and blue Spider-Man suit, forgoing any utilization of Stark Industries technology while incorporating design elements from the suits worn by the two Spider-Men. He wore this suit in December 2024 to swing past Rockefeller Center on his way to respond to a crime.
