theoretic is a Jersey raised, Brooklyn based, DJ, producer, educator, & more. theoretic is entrenched in the beating heart of Brooklyn's underground music scene. Their sonic craft spans a fusion of House, Techno, Disco, Garage, & soul music that gave way for all these pivotal elements in the evolution of Black club music. Their style is a symphonic medley that compels even the most restrained feet to move.

"There is something so fascinating and fearless about the House music that matured leaving the 80s, into the 90s and early 2000s. These records are some of my favorites because they capture that period prior to the complete digital overtaking of the music industry, and where DAWs still didn't reign supreme for most. The 70s soul/jazz/disco samples (some well-known, some more obscure) featured in these songs tend to be the focal point that adds so much soul, groove and personality to the tracks. These are also songs that would make people of all ages move on the dance floor. I loved taking the time to craft this set and hope you all enjoy it. "
