disclaimer: this mix cannot be viewed in Russia due to copyright.a 2-hour long improvised mix to celebrate the end of the year! this set comprises (almost) entirely of vinyl records i've acquired just this year with the exception of the last track because it felt appropriate. a lot of rarities from Brazil, Latin America, South Korea and Japan. i started this channel out of my love for collecting and it eventually spiraled into a full on archival project, especially this year. i'd like to thank my friends yaoiboi92 and banana for teaching me how to clean records for archival and my friend Jonathan for getting me into Japanese private press vinyl. although it's definitely a lot of money to commit to collecting records, it's really fun and i feel like i've gotten to know a lot more people because of it. thanks to everyone who takes the time out of their lives to listen to this beautiful music that barely anyone knows exists -- and a few popular tunes too, of course. it may be a small community of people, but we all love music all the same, whether it's Japanese folk, bossa nova, Brazilian soul, Korean psych... all stuff that's in this mix. i hope everyone has a happy holiday and enjoyed their year! here's to a great 2025.
