This is my Tropicana Las Vegas demolition update taken on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. It's been 20 days since the Tropicana implosion took place. I start the video along Las Vegas Blvd in front of the Excalibur Hotel. You can only see the front tower from this view. The front tower still looks like a big pile but I'm able to see the progress since my last video. Crews are cutting into the sides of the pile. The front tower is made up of steel beams versus the back towers concrete structure. It's crazy how the one excavator is pulling the steel beams out of the top of the pile. I was waiting to see the pile come falling down. It appears to be a very delicate process. I then make my way to the OYO parking structure to check out that side of the property. The back tower demo appears to be moving along faster. There are a lot more piles of the crushed rock along the OYO side. You can see the water cooler that was pointed out by my viewers in my last video. I curious to know if this was actually there before the implosion. I will have to look through some of my older footage to see if it is there. Toward the end of the video, someone was flying a drone over the site. Check out this channel's drone footage.
