This video explains:
Why do Romania and Chad have Similar flags.
Romania was the first country to use this tricolor. However in 1948, Romania adopted communism and changed its flag by adding the communist emblem.
Fast forward to 1960 Chad gained independence from France and adopted this flag.
Now the problem began when Romania got rid of communism in 1990 and readopted its old flag, meaning that both Romania and Chad now have identical flags.
