Likening her paintings to “silent music played by colors,” Gloviczki eternally endeavors to achieve a subtle harmony of forms and colors, which for her is the greatest pleasure one can find in life. Approaching color and form from various levels of abstraction, she allows her inner feelings or imagination at any given moment to dictate the harmony that she composes; demonstrating a masterfully versatile handling of color and light.
Born in Poland in 1957, Gloviczki began learning to paint at a very young age from her father who was a professional painter. Not wanting her to become a starving artist, her father pushed her to pursue a more stable career. As such, she went to medical school in Poland before emigrating to France and also attending medical school there; after which she worked as a medical researcher for 22 years. In spite of this, she never lost her artistic drive and after many years decided to pursue her true passion for painting in America with support from her family.
