Oceans Apart is the second track I made while living in a Van last year. The originaI sketch was made near the cliffs of Amalfi. Actually being inspired by the beautiful hike "path of god " there.
With this Upcoming EP i tried remembering the places I have visited with compositions surrounded by nature, recording foley & exploring synthesis. Oceans Apart is melancholic and warm with organic drums & sounds and a piano filling the space of warmth and harmony. The track is about how I felt as oposed to my friends and family while I was traveling. When traveling I felt like a spectator to the live surrounding you while other people are busy with their day to day tasks. Oceans Apart was the acknowledgement of this differences at that time.
