For those who've been listening to all these bass mixes, by now you've likely seen a pattern. First water, then fire, now Earth. The goal was to make four bass mixes that encapsulate the feeling of the elements. The first came easy enough, but now that the subject matter is becoming more defined, I'm finding it harder to find music that hits those specific notes I"m looking for to complete the series. Looking back, as I always do, it's easy to see what I could have or should have changed to make things more cogent. I wouldn't be surprised if this series continues as I figure out more how best to move musically though the elements, but this last mix couldn't have been possible without a channel on Youtube called, "Come Meditate. " I've been following them for a few years now and listening to their regular offerings has introduced me to a world of deep tribal earthy sounding bass music that I had dreamt of, but until then been unable to find.
