not only is Japanese emo poorly documented, but also very underrated. a lot of the bands on this list are mostly unknown to a western audience, and at times even in their own home country. this is the second bootleg compilation to be uploaded to this channel. like the last one, its intention is to give people insight into a music scene that is rarely listened to. i hope that you give this one a chance. within, there are melancholic soliloquies of American midwestern influence, the bristling passion of japanese hardcore blended perfectly with the angst of early emocore, the ethereal yet sharp ever-flowing clusters of noisy guitar riffs in the slow burners. i am proud to present For When You Leave. remember to love your friends. thank you for listening!
