And what better way to do that than by putting up the Christmas tree?

After all, when guests come to visit, it will be the first thing they see; radiating warmth and holiday cheer as they gather around the roaring log fire. The first step of the process is always the same: a trip to the attic to dig out all the buried decorations. But before we get there, we need to make sure the lounge is warm enough for this festive work, so lighting a fire is priority number one.
