Ted Nugent es un guitarrista estadounidense de Hard Rock con un estilo muy marcado por el Blues y el Rock And Roll, empezó su carrera musical en la agrupación The Amboy Dukes a mitad de los 60 para luego convertirse en solista a mediados de los 70, y en 1989 se uniría al supergrupo Damn Yankees junto a Tommy Shaw de Styx y Jack Blades de Night Ranger. En el plano personal ha sido muy polémico por sus tendencias políticas de derecha ya que es un fuerte activista republicano.
