The next time he came back, the man asked him if he forgot to pay last time. Feeling bad, he sent $100 to the street vendor but the street vendor tried to return some money saying he doesn't owe that much.
The young man jokingly said that it's tuition fee because he wants to learn from the master but the disabled man didn't realize it was a joke and actually began teaching the young man. For the rest of the day, the young man helped out the street vendor.
When customer arrived in their car, the young man would help take the order to the customers. And by the time they were finally done, it was 2 am. As he helped unload the cart, he realized how much work it takes.
In the early morning, they woke up to go to the market and picked out the freshest ingredients. The street vendor only get a few hours of sleep per day. This realization has made the man that much more appreciative of street vendors.
Before parting ways, the street vendor even gave him a piece of paper containing ingredients. Inside the paper, was a $100 bill he returned. He was just glad to teach new people new skills which was something he had on his new year resolution. It was just in time before the year 2024 ended.
The young man didn't have the heart to tell the street vendor that he wasn't serious when he said he wanted to learn from him. Regardless, he still learn a lot.
