Did you notice this in Helluva Boss?

During sinsmas andre takes over stolas’s mansion. One peculiar thing he does is have every portrait replaced with the same exact portrait of himself.

In some behind the scenes shots of the room the portraits have temp written on them, meaning they were likely in there as a placeholder. This isn’t present in the final scene, meaning the portraits were deliberately kept that way.

I think i know why. Andre thinks he’s perfect so there’s no need for more than one portrait, so he just has a dozen copies of the same one. Instead of renovating the place, he immediately replaces the portraits of stolas and has a pedicure with stella. It’s very in character for him. It also saves a bunch of time for the artists since there’s no need for more than one artpiece.

Personally i think this is funnier, so i can see why it was kept in.
