This music is really beyond genre, and a style you have never really heard before, because I was sequestered away from the music world while making it. I intentionally stopped buying and listening to other people's music (other than what I already had) for about 5 years. This music was made during part of that time, which was about 1993 - 1998.

The artist name for this music is "Transelectronic Theory" and encompases a big part of my musical background.

If genre has to be used "Industrial HipHop" comes to mind for the first song, but the rest are up in the air. I have no idea - I really don't think like that at all and never have.

The videos content was generated using an early AI animation program called 'Deforum', and it an exploration on a singular prompt with subte tweaking.

As an artist I choose to not edit or change the videos, instead, present them exactly as they came out of the computer.

Why?

As a documentation of the technology, and a documentation of the process.

See, art isn't just about the final product, it s also about the process. And this video showcases the many different ways that the technology can be used.

As the video progresses the animations become increasingly more complex. The smoothness of the movement becomes refined, the aspect ratio changes. Camera movements are introduced, to great effect, with positive and negative results.

The total run time is just over 36 minutes and contains 94 videos.
