Marte In Ariete - Nostalgia (1985) - Italian Post Punk / New Wave

From their demo tape 'Demo K7' recorded in 1985.

"Marte In Ariete are a band founded in 1984 by Osvaldo Lanata at the time singer for the band Nadja. No longer finding the necessary space for his musical ideas, he decided to pour them into a new project : Marte in Ariete, recruiting some former members of Nadja, Carlo Nasti on bass and Bruno Ianiello sax. With them soon joined the friends Lorenzo Acanfora and Franco Zocco .

The collaboration led to the creation of self-produced demo tape K7 on 1985 and then the two tracks for the compilation C.O.D.E..

Osvaldo besides being guitarist and voice is also the author of all the songs made exception for Italian texts (Fabio Giannini, Nadja).

They played live for a single concert in which Fabio Giannini participated as guitarist and Anna Zocco as vocalist. Later the band broke up following the defection of some members of the band for study commitments.

Osvaldo in the early 90s participated as a bassist at the birth of Los Caimanos and continued to write music for the Mellonta Tauta project with artist poet Angelo Tonelli"
