Tuvalu is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and approximately 11,000 residents inhabit this island paradise. Tuvalu faces the threat of rising sea levels. Number 3: Nauru, a minuscule island country. It's situated in the Pacific Ocean, with an area of approximately 21 km2, and a coastline of about 30 km. Number 2: Monaco, a city-state within France, covering a total area of approximately 2 km2. It has a coastline of about 4.1 km and a land border of only 5.5 km. Finally, number 1: Vatican City, the tiniest of them all. Situated within Italy's borders. Only about 800 people reside within its walls. It proudly serves as the residence of the Pope, the esteemed leader of the Catholic Church.
