▪️Dark circles with cream
Dark circles are usually multifactorial. There is darkening of skin along with grooving called tear trough. If eyes are deep set, there will be hollowness and shadowing in the under eye area. There may be wrinkling of skin along with prominence of blood vessels. Can one single cream address all these problems : no.
With age the grooving under eyes become more prominent making dark circles look worse. This cannot be addressed by use of creams.
We can improve appearance of dark circles but expecting complete disappearance is unrealistic.
▪️Korean glass skin
On Instagram, it seems like everyone has glass skin. It a combination of using hydrating serums and moisturisers along with flattering sunlight or ring light and certain camera angles. Nobody’s skin looks like how it looks on screen in real life.
▪️Scars on skin
Import t to remember that once there is an injury to deeper layers of skin, there will be a permanent scar. We can improve the appearance of scar and make it less visible but scar once formed cannot completely disappear.

Toners with rose water or green tea can be beneficial for soothing the skin. People with oily skin might enjoy using toners but it’s better to skip a toner and just using the active in serum or cream formulation. More the layers you apply on the skin, more diluted it gets making it less effective on the skin.
▪️Vitamin B 12
Vitamin B 12 stimulates p acne bacteria on the skin to make more porphyries which increase inflammation. This can cause acne flares along with prominent redness.
▪️Cleanser for dry skin
You can skin cleanse run the morning in you have dry skin. Just rinsing with water is enough. Cleanser can be used only at night to remove sunscreen nd make up.
▪️Coconut oil is comedogenic
Though coconut oil is good moisturiser, it can be comedogenic. If you have acne prone skin then best to avoid using thick oils on the face.
▪️Fairness soaps
Soaps are in contact with skin for too short a time to show any results . Nothing can safely change natural skin colour. Skin lightening soaps especially show no change on the skin.
