George Benson was born in 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a ten-time Grammy Award winner, he has made a significant impact on both fusion jazz and soul jazz. He is celebrated not only for his exceptional guitar skills but also for his vocal talents, having collaborated with various artists to create memorable music. Benson emphasizes living a family-oriented life, rooted in his beliefs as a Jehovah's Witness. He has been married to Johnnie Lee since 1965, and together they have seven children.

"Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" is a song written by composers Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin. It was originally recorded in 1984 by the American singer and guitarist George Benson. This original version was produced by its own author Michael Masser, and was released as a single-only in Europe in 1985.
Two years later, the song became even more well known for a re-recording by Hawaiian singer Glenn Medeiros, whose 1987 cover eventually topped the charts in several countries.
