Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock’s "war with Russia" comment has backfired. Several opposition leaders and others from Germany have trained guns at Baerbock. She has been tagged "unfit for the job" and "insane" publicly by German leaders. German MP Sahra Wagenknecht accused Baerbock of "trampling" with Germany’s image. Alice Weidel, the co-chair of Alternative Germany, said that we need a foreign minister who can act as a responsible diplomat and not a firebrand amid the conflict in Europe. Amid the row, the German Foreign Ministry clarified that Berlin is not a party to the conflict. However, neither Baerbock nor Olaf Scholz have yet responded to the criticism.
