The world’s largest producer of iron ore and nickel, was facing operational visibility issues, inefficiencies in manual processes and inconsistencies in safety standards across its various operations. The adoption of the Sigga Mobile EAM system solved these challenges by providing real-time visibility into SAP, eliminating excessive administrative work and improving execution and safety standards. The project, aligned with the company global IT initiative, has already positively impacted 7,000 users in three countries, generating annual savings of US$ 10.5 million and significant reductions in working hours and paper. The partnership between the company and Sigga, which began in 2003, covers mines, power plants, ports and railways in 30 countries.
