Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, @daggatrx spent his younger years going to his older brother's raves, absorbing raw techno sounds and futuristic electro from record labels of the time, such as @gigolorecords Dagga displays his razor-sharp ability to slice and dice a variety of flavors like Electro, Funk Carioca, Breaks and Techno with perfect precision👽
In 2020 he released his first ep, House of Flying Daggers, on Jensen Interceptor's @INTERNATIONALCHROME. A very well received album to date, it blends classic electro and fast ghetto, inspired by the early days of dopplerefekt and D.I.E. Dagga met rookie artist @djfuckoff and they became a new electronic music duo together they produced ghetto hits like "Trick" and "Nasty" months later, he released the "Nasty" album, again on @Internationalchrome, making him a full-fledged artist for the label. Dagga's work on @internationalchrome has been supported by artists such as @dj-godfather, Brodinsky, @dar_key, Animistic Believe, Luzie, @alienata, @djdeeon, @egyptianlover, @partiboi69, @nitefleit, @umwelt-music, and @louisahhh, just to name a few. In late 2020 he released his first LP on @mallgrab @steelcitydancediscs, largely a solo record, taking a different approach with 12 tracks of fast techno, old school gabber, breaks and electro. This album is full of nostalgic hip hop samples mixed with 90's ravey sounds. It contains heaters like "move that shit" and "hype and dope". 2021 marked Dagga's debut on @nsasounds, @jupiter4records and SOIL RECORDS, expanding his universe with darker melodies full of ebm tint and futuristic electro, attracting the attention of artists such as @helena-hauff, curses, phase fatale and years of denial. .
