Clara Ann Fowler (1927–2013) was born in Oklahoma, and her stage name, Patti Page, was acclaimed for being an exceptionally talented singer with a distinctive vocal style who pioneered blending country into pop and jazz. She lived in Solana Beach, California after her third marriage and remained active until her death in 2013.

"Tennessee Waltz" is a popular country music song with lyrics by Redd Stewart and music by Pee Wee King written in 1946 and first released in 1948. The song became a multimillion seller via a 1950 recording as "The Tennessee Waltz" by Patti Page.
The popularity of the song made it the fourth official song of the state of Tennessee in 1965.
Page's recording was inducted into Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.
