I love my Elektron Digitone synth and it's probably my favorite device from Elektron. It sounds awesome and I've been recording with it a lot lately but one thing I love using it for is polishing up/mastering the sound of simpler, more value driven instruments like the PO-33 KO.In this video, I'm recording a jam from the PO-33 into the inputs of my Digitone to enhance and master the sound of the mix. I've added explanatory text to the video to explain the process. If you have a Digitone, I highly encourage you to use it to process external sources. If you have a PO-33, you can probably emulate some of this through plugins. Mainly anything that can widen the stereo field (like chorus) some subtle overdrive, and some subtle reverb. Give it a try.
