In this video from ISET 2022, Dr Andrew Holden (Auckland City Hospital, Auckland, NZ) outlines the findings of the AAA-Shape study, a prospective single-center safety study designed to investigate the safety and efficacy of the IMPEDE-FX Embolization Plug. Outcomes show that out of 16 EVAR patients treated with the embolization plug, there was a 100% rate of technical success, with no adverse events, no endoleaks and significant sac shrinkage.
