An aortic stent graft procedure, also known as endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), Depending on the location, is a minimally invasive treatment for aneurysms or other pathologies of the aorta.

Procedure begains with Small incisions are made in the groin to access the femoral arteries.
Guidewires and catheters are threaded through the arteries to the site of the aneurysm.
The stent graft, a fabric-covered metal mesh tube, is compressed and delivered to the aneurysm site via the catheter. Once in place, it is expanded to fit snugly within the aorta, effectively excluding the aneurysm from the blood flow.
