This video is about seeing beauty in the small, ordinary moments that most people pass by. That’s something I try to do, in life and in art. I’ve noticed I tend to use men a lot in my videos. I’m not exactly sure why, but I do. My favorite book ever is The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, which is the story of a boy into his manhood, written by a woman. Maybe it’s the contrast, or maybe it’s just where my imagination feels most free. This piece is a meditation on beauty, time, and the invisible threads that hold it all together.
