Introducing UFO1988. A short mix of unreleased, unfinished new music, set to a tripped-out ghost video of Manchester in the rain.UFO1988 is a new music concept of industrial soundscapes with influences of Dub and Techno, brought into the future with West Coast and Granular synthesis. Berlin meets Detroit in the industrial wastelands of Manchester.
Part of the creative process is to listen to bounces of the tracks in a car driving round the (often rainy) city. This film is an attempt to bring viewers into that creative space. The unreal, reality. Layers of city, sky and rain.
