The University of Hawai‘i men’s volleyball team received a spirited send-off Sunday night outside SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, as fans, the UH band, and fellow student-athletes gathered to show their support before the team departed for the NCAA Championship Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

The Rainbow Warriors (26-5), fresh off capturing the Big West Championship title, earned the No. 2 seed in the national tournament and will face Penn State (15-15) in the quarterfinal round on Thursday. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. HST and will be streamed on NCAA.com.

This marks UH’s 10th all-time appearance in the NCAA Championship and its seventh under head coach Charlie Wade, who is in his 16th season at the helm. The ‘Bows have compiled an 11-7 overall record in NCAA tournament play, including national titles in 2021 and 2022.
