Empty and Full

If the mug has nothing in,
No coffee and no tea,
There's only one way to describe it
We say that it’s empty.

But if we pour it
Halfway to the rim
It's half empty and half full!
(look at the picture.)

Let’s add some more until it’s filled,
Be careful not to grab it, stop!
We’ve poured it right up to the top,
It’s so full that it might spill!
