Jesse Welles is an artist with all the makings of what i consider to be a legend for many years to come. As we traveled around with him exploring his neck of the woods, it was apparent that the dude was just built different… plain and simple. He wrote songs while sitting in traffic, he wrote songs about horse flies as we swatted them away during our recordings (and they were bonafide classic sounding tunes). As we drove around in his old ford van he told us about how he felt he doesn’t have any time left to waste with his music, and he aims to give his listeners the best he can with the years he has left on this giant floating space rock we call Earth.
