12:30 AM Set of the 24 Hour Ragas Live Festival at Pioneer Works 10.15.23As we entered the witching hour at Pioneer Works, Mind Maintenance—the super duo of Joshua Abrams (Natural Information Society, The Roots, Tortoise, Town & Country) and Chad Taylor (Chicago Underground Duo, Pharoah Sanders, Marc Ribot Trio)—invoked the acoustic trance traditions of Zimbabwe and Morocco.
Ragas Live Festival is produced by Pioneer Works in collaboration with NYC Radio Live, Brooklyn Raga Massive and the Society for Arts and Culture of South Asia.
