The story revolves around a woman named Betul; He has a suffering mother who lives with her three children - two sick twins and a teenage daughter named Maral. Years ago, Betul had a quiet life with his wife, an engineer. But this peace is interrupted by another woman in the life of a man, Zahra. The engineer arranges a second marriage in the silence of Betul; A betrayal that not only breaks the heart of his wife, but also shakes the foundation of the family.

In the middle of this turmoil, the old comrade of the engineer, Mr Reza, who has had a friendly relationship with the Betul family for many years, is suddenly found. He has come up with the intention of appearing and perhaps supporting Betul, because he is upset by the betrayal of his old friend. The meeting triggered the engineer's sense of suspicion.
